The average price paid for the month is 38.53 cpl. This is based on the average butterfat of 4.65% and protein of 3.82%, including milk price support, SCC, SDAS bonuses and VAT.

SDAS Update

Over 77% of all milk supplied to the Society in November benefitted from the SDAS bonus. All suppliers who have yet to complete their first audit are reminded of the SDAS deadlines now in place.

SDAS deadlines

  • All suppliers are required to have completed an SDAS audit by the 31st March 2017
  • From January 1st 2017 suppliers will receive a maximum of 12 months back payment of the SDAS bonus. Therefore any supplier that signed up in 2014 or 2015 should complete their audit before the 31st of December to maximise their bonus

Any supplier that will have their first audit before the 31st of March deadline is required to have 3 months of remedy usage records recorded in the Bord Bia farm book.

With a busy calving period coming in February and March we advise suppliers to get their first audit completed before the end of January. To arrange your first audit contact Tim Regan / Darren Lynch.

Annual Agreed Volume

We remind suppliers that the closing date for the return of their Annual Agreed Volume application was the 9th of December.

Most suppliers have already signed their application form for milk supply in 2017. These applications provide vital forecasting information to the Society. We ask any supplier that has not yet returned their annual agreed application form to do so as soon as possible.
